The world has been transformed in the last 30 years by the rise and advances in the Internet and digital technologies. Due to social media, online platforms and forums, and machine learning applications, access to information and the ability to work and collaborate online have increased. However, against the backdrop of these innovations, there are fields that have not yet benefited from digital technology advances as much as they should. One notable field is education.

The Art and AI Hackathon, a collaborative effort by the Google Developer Student Club Tilburg University and AI Forward Forum, took place on May 11, 2023. The event unfolded within the innovative confines of the MindLabs building, nestled in Tilburg’s Spoorzone. With a focus on engaging a broad student audience, the hackathon brought together seven teams of talented individuals, each eager to combine their creative prowess with the potential of artificial intelligence.
